About Me...

Sunrise on the Silo
Hello!
My name is Hannah Joy.
I currently live on an organic dairy farm in the North East corner of Ohio with my parents and 4 of my 12 brothers and sisters. My three older siblings and one younger brother are married and I have three adorable nieces and four handsome nephews. One sister graduated to heaven in January of 2021.
I was homeschooled 1-12th grade and loved it!
I am seeking the Lord's will for my life, wherever He leads
I enjoy cooking at Peniel Bible Camp as the head cook/kitchen superintendent, and I manage our family's bulk food store.
I recently started my journey into the realm of college classes, taking a few online. I am looking at getting a nursing degree.

~I believe~
I am a born-again believer in Jesus Christ.

I believe there is only One True God, eternal existing in Three Persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; the Triune God. Isaiah 45:5-6, John 1:1-45:17-47

I believe God made the world (Psalm 24:1-2Psalm 104, Isaiah 42:5, 45:12, 45:18, Amos 4:13, Colossians 1:16-17, Revelations 4:11 in six literal days. Genesis 1:1- 2:25

I believe that Adam and Eve sinned against God by eating of the fruit of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil Genesis 3:1-24 (God's command- Genesis 2:16-17)

I believe that because Adam and Eve sinned, every person is born a sinner. 1 Kings 8:46, Psalm 51:5Romans 3:10-123:23, 5:12, 1 John 1:5-10

I believe that man was created to glorify God. Isaiah 43:7, Revelation 4:11

I believe the world (except for Noah, his family, and "two of every sort" of the animals that breathed air)  was destroyed in a world wide flood. Genesis 6:1- 8:22

I believe that God miraculously saved the line of the Messiah of the Jews. (One example- Haman's plot to kill the Jews, Book of Esther)

I believe that Jesus, the Messiah, was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died, and rose from the dead on the 3rd day. (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John)

I believe that Jesus is fully God and fully man.

I believe that Jesus made a way for all men, Jew and Gentile, to have a right standing before God. Romans 5:8, 1 Timothy 1:15

I believe that there is only one way to be right with God and that that way is through Jesus Christ. 1 Timothy 2:5-6

I believe that God is Holy Isaiah 6:3

I believe that the Bible, all 66 books, is God's inspired, inerrant Word. 2 Timothy 3:16-17

I believe that God guided and protected the men who wrote the original manuscripts so that what was written was what He wanted written. (This is not referring to the translation of the manuscripts into other languages)

I believe that marriage is between one man and one woman. Genesis 2:22-24

I believe that children are a blessing from God. Psalm 127:3-5

All references are in the King James Version.

I am not a King James-only person, but I do prefer to use it, because that is what I grew up using and memorizing.
