Thailand Trip 2019!

First leg of my journey- Cleveland airport!

June 10-19, 2019
A trip to Thailand to visit my sister, Esther, and bring her back to the States.
It was so much fun and I am so glad I was able to go.
Here are a "few" of my many pictures.

 Chicago!

 First view of South Korea.

 The airport was beautiful!

 Bangkok

Getting to hug Esther for the first time in almost 23 months!!! We both cried a little bit. :)

A girls' trip to Bangkok and we walked to the market and got fruit. I had my first coconut.
I don't care for coconut water here in the States, but liked it there.

One of my favorite fruits, rambutan.
(Not what we called them there, but that is the English name.)

Rambutan, mango, and oranges from the market.

Meat sticks from the Tesco Lotus market area. These were good, but I preferred the ones from the lady who sold them in their muban almost every morning.

The fruits at the store. I tried most of the fruits in this picture. Esther wanted me to experience as much as I could in the short time I was there.

This fresh jasmine smelled so good!!!

2 different dishes they had for supper the one night, and of course I had to try both. Also, rice. I really like rice, so that worked out well. ☺

Of course, we had to get some silly pictures during their family photo
shoot.
Getting green tea from the cafe right next to Esther's apartment. Esther's last time during her stay, and my first and only time.

Walking to the Seawright's house. The tea was really good!

The Wat Sothon. One of the main attractions in Chachoengsao.

This coconut chiffon cake was so good!

One day we had a picnic lunch at the Princess Mother's Park.

Trying to figure out what kind of sticky rice we had bought at the market.

 We played lots of games!

 Cutting up pumpkin for supper.

Watching Esther and Susanna make the Cambodian meal.

 This was my favorite meal!

 My first roasted coconut.

All of us with our coconuts.

Chris talking to some of the people at the Khlong Suan Market, also known as the 100-Year Market.

Lunch at the river front restaurant
.

Mastermind was a favorite game.

Pulling Susanna and 2 Thai boys on roller blades around the park on a bike.

Moto ride! I very much enjoyed riding. ☺

 Dragon fruit is really good!

 Another moto ride.

Making fresh lemongrass tea from a plant in their backyard.

 Another favorite fruit, mangosteen.

And then we headed home. Waiting to check our bags back in during our 8 hour layover in China.

 Getting closer to the US!

California!

And our final destination! We were exhausted after traveling for about 32 hours.
It took me a while to get over my jet leg when I got home. I didn't really have any when I got there because it was night when I got in and went to bed right away and just slept until Esther woke me up later the next morning. So I would definitely recommend getting in in the evening if you travel to another time zone. ☺

I hope you enjoyed this snapshot of my trip!

"And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen."

Random Spring Snapshots

Here are a few pictures off my phone from yesterday and today.

Mercy, Rose, Azalea, Jonah, Jacob, Ruth, and I went on a walk yesterday afternoon. We all got dirty, but we had a lot of fun.

I love being an aunt. We just missed the other 2 little guys!

When we got back, we were looking to see if we could find any fish, then tried to go fishing. I didn't catch anything, but Mercy caught one.☺

Today, Ruth "helped" me in the store.
After lunch, she decided to take a short nap. She even slept through a customer coming, but woke up as they left.

After the store closed, I wanted to go enjoy the beautiful weather, so I took a walk/run down the road and stopped and took some pictures.

I hope you enjoyed some snapshots from the last couple days!
