Maine

This October, Esther and I went to Maine with our Pastor and his wife for a conference.
On the first day, we ladies didn't have to be in any meetings till the evening, so we went sightseeing.
I have seen the Atlantic Ocean from an airplane, but have never been at the ocean. This was also Esther's first time.
The water was a little cool, but we had to take off our shoes and let the waves wash over our feet. It was an awesome experience. We live close to Lake Erie and I have been there many times, but this was different. On the other side of this water was a different continent. France was directly across the great expanse of water.
I hope to go back sometime soon, so if anyone wants to take a trip, let me know. 😊
I hope you enjoy the pictures! (there are a lot of them)
Of course we had to get a picture with the ocean.

I love the coast!

The waves on the rocks are beautiful!

Paddle boarders. I have done it on a calm lake, but it was pretty windy that day.

Cape Neddick Lighthouse, the Nubble Light.

Looking down the "cliff" at the water hitting the rocks.

After going to the beach and the lighthouse, we went to Kennebunkport and walked around looking in a lot of the shops.

This was the our the back window of one of the shops.

A lot of the houses in the area are older and I took pictures of a few of our favorites.

This is Captain Lord Mansion. We wanted to go in and look at it, but they didn't have any vacancies, so we knew we wouldn't be able to see much.

We had to drive across the line to New Hampshire several times, and I really liked this bridge!

On our way home.

I hope you enjoyed looking at the pictures as much as I enjoyed posting them!

"Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice: and let men say among the nations, The Lord reigneth. Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof: let the fields rejoice, and all that is therein."
1 Chronicles 16:31-32

"The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein."
Psalm 24:1
